Wanda Louise Todd
Wanda Louise (Tyree) Todd, 86, of Oklahoma City, left this earth to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, Feb. 24, 2020.
Wanda was born Aug. 26, 1933, in Maxwell, Pontotoc County to Grover and Eva Lee (Brecheen) Tyree.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years, RC Todd; sister, Linda (Dan) Cusher and daughter, Sharon (Terry) Vaughn; daughter-in-law, Jan Knipp (wife of deceased son, David) and her husband, Dale Knipp; grandsons Jason (Maggie) Vaughn, Christopher (Zena) Vaughn, Nathan (Jessica) Todd-Knipp, Kevin (Chelsea) Knipp; and granddaughter, Lisa (Eric) Todd-Sommerhauser.
She had 10 great grandchildren, Taylor, Kailey and Payton Sommerhauser; Addelyn, David, Landry, Kohen and Briar Knipp; and Charley and Wyatt Vaughn.
She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father and son, David Ray Todd.
Wanda devoted her life to caring for her home and family. She loved sewing, crafts, and bowling. She loved to listen to old-time gospel music.
The family wishes to thank the many loving caregivers who provided such wonderful assistance to Wanda over the past couple of years.
Funeral service will be held at Matthews Funeral Home, 601 S. Kelly, Edmond. Visitation from 6-8 p.m. Thursday. Funeral service at 10 a.m. Friday. A light lunch will be served following the service. Burial at 2 p.m. Friday at Maxwell Cemetery, Pontotoc County (near Ada).
