Ada, OK - Sherry Leal, 58, passed away on March 5th 2026. She was born February 18th 1968 in Ventura, CA. She met her husband in Oxnard, CA and lived in Ventura where they started a family. They moved to Ada, OK in 2005. Sherry worked in the medical field for 40 years and spent over 10 years working for Mercy Hospital.

She was a loving and caring wife, mother, sister, and friend. She lit up any room she walked in and her laugh was infectious. She had an incredible sense of humor and had fun anywhere she went.

Sherry enjoyed traveling, going on cruises, and playing games. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed game nights with her sisters every Friday night. She was a member of Paws Pals and helped with adoption events.

She was proceeded in death by her parents Frank L. Dunn of Oxnard, CA and Retha Sue Longacre of Stonewall, OK. She is survived by her husband of 35 years Harold Leal of Ada, OK, daughters Paige (husband Sammie Bray) of Bentonville, AR, and Raigen Leal of Stillwater, OK, and her sisters Tammy Dunn and Sheila Dunn of Francis, OK, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at Grace Christian Fellowship, 15900 County Road 3563 Ada, OK on Saturday March 28, 2026 at 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking donations be made to Backroad Bridge Rescue in memory of Sherry. Donations can be sent via Venmo @BackroadBridgeRescue.
