Ada, Oklahoma - Robert Elisha Kinsey, Jr. was born on July 11, 1946 in Fullerton, California and passed from this life on April 6, 2026 in Ada, Oklahoma. Robert married his wife, Joanne (Blake) Kinsey in Las Vegas, Nevada on January 29, 1965. They had 4 children.

Bob started his career as a machinist at Parker Bertea Aerospace in Irvine, California. After moving to Oklahoma he worked at Gault Tool as a machinist. He then became a laborer at the cement plant eventually working his way up to supervisor after 30+ years. He was known as a hard worker, prankster, and someone able to fix all mechanical things. He loved riding motorcycles and working on cars. He enjoyed fishing, and generally keeping his kids in line. Bob was well-known for his creative use of the word "UMPH" which had a universal meaning depending on the circumstance.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents Robert Elisha Kinsey, Sr. and Wanda Imodeen (Smith) Kinsey and siblings Barbara Dunn, Norma Crawford, and Bill Kinsey.

He is survived by his wife Joanne Kinsey, his children: Chele Kinsey and her fiance Doug Hersey, Stacy Gibney and husband Brandon, R Jason Kinsey and wife Tonya, Matthew Kinsey and wife Michele. His grandchildren are Jessica Kinsey, Madeline Kinsey, Josey Allen, Abagael Walters, Jacob Kinsey, Nathaniel Kinsey, Cassidy Kinsey, Austin Kinsey and great granddaughter Kodi Kinsey. He also is survived by his sister Phyllis Cox.
