Services for Daniel Anthony Cusher, Jr., 87, of Ada were Friday, February 13, 2026, at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel; Rev. Bob Feighner and Billy Huffman officiated. Burial followed at Maxwell Cemetery.
Rev. Cusher passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at his home. He was born November 9, 1938, in Kingston, New York to Daniel Anthony Cusher, Sr. and Isabel Lillian Dixon Cusher.
Rev. Cusher proudly served his nation in the United States Air Force, as a Technical Sergeant, for 20 years and 9 months, building a distinguished career marked by commitment, integrity, and honor. He retired September 1st, 1976. Following his military service, Rev. Cusher worked as a clerk at a local lumber yard and many years at Prepaid Legal Services. Answering a higher calling, Rev. Cusher devoted his life to ministry. He faithfully served as pastor of Ahloso Baptist Church and later Homer Baptist Church. Through his preaching, guidance, and compassionate heart, he touched countless lives.
Rev. Cusher enjoyed singing, woodworking, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Linda, of the home; two sons, Brent Cusher and Patrick Cusher; three step-daughters, Teresa Rue-Wallace (Randy), of Wynnewood, OK, Brenda Roberts (Robbie), of Ada, OK, and Ramona Corvin-Brown (David), of Boulder, CO; brother, Wayne Cusher; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
