Retha Joy Williams
Retha Joy Williams peacefully entered heaven on June 30, 2019, in Edmond. She was 86 years old.
She was born Oct. 11, 1932, in Anadarko to Alvie and Ralph Noland. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyt Williams; son, Garvin Williams; sisters, Alice Brown, Annetta Kelley and Linda Anderson; and brother, Dewey Noland.
She is survived by her daughter, Pet Williams of Ada; brother, Charles Oliver and wife, Diane, of Edmond, whom Retha loved dearly.
She would always tell us she loved us more, but we would always let her know she was loved the most.
She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, who will miss her greatly;and by her adopted grandchildren Peyton, Addi, Cooper and Luke, who loved her dearly, loved her treats and will always have precious memories.
She was a nurse for many years in Oklahoma and Arkansas and worked into her mid-70s in various fields including hospital, home health, long-term care and company nursing. She will be painfully missed by those many family and friends who loved her deeply.
The family planned a private memorial.
