Ada, Oklahoma - Oniel Clifton Jackson, 87, of Ada, was born June 22, 1931, in Wynnewood to Bethel and Mary Lou (Ginn) Jackson. He passed away Nov. 6, 2018, in Ada.
He grew up in the Walker, Pauls Valley and Stratford area. He graduated from Stratford High School. He married Marva Nell Sweat June 22, 1957, in Durango, Colorado.
Oniel worked in the oil fields, ran a service station in Stratford and retired from the cement plant in Ada.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bethel and Mary Lou Jackson; and two sons, Kenny and Monte Jackson.
He is survived by his wife, Nell of the home; one daughter; Tracey Ashour and her husband, Mo; and three grandchildren, Tyler Leslie, Corey and Kaelyn Keeling.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Rosedale Cemetery in Ada.
