Morris Reed Cane (Morris "Killer" Cane) Obituary

Ada, Oklahoma - Morris Cane

Services for Morris Reed "Killer" Cane will be Wednesday, December 17th at 2:00 at Center Free Will Baptist Church. Morris departed this life on December 11th.

He was born on August 6,1959 to Shirley Herrin and W.G. "Buddy" Cane. He was born and raised in Ada, Oklahoma, graduating from Ada High School in 1977. He rode bulls and broncs as a young man, worked in the oil fields, and as a concrete worker for many years. He later worked in maintenance for the Chickasaw Nation, retiring after 17 years.

He married Patricia "Patti" Willoughby on February 1, 1985.

Morris was a wonderful dancer, he could two step with the best of them. He and his wife made many wonderful memories of not only nights out dancing, but dancing around the kitchen or living room to their favorite songs. Morris loved music, there was probably not a day when the kids were growing up that music wasn't playing in the house. He was also a great cook, he operated the "Cook Shack" from which he sold Barbecue to many happy customers. He always kept his family and friends well fed. He loved his family dearly, and was so proud of each and every one. Morris had given his life to Christ and was ready to go to his eternal home and see the many family members and friends who had gone before him.

Morris is survived by his wife Patti, of the home, sons Lucas Cane of Vanoss, Erik Hatton and Liz of Ada, and daughter Chasity Hicks and son in law Ronnie of Ada, as well as his beloved dog, Sugar, of the home. He also leaves behind nine grandchildren, sister Janet Cane of Ada, sisters in law Debbie Warren, and Vickie Holt and husband Rockey of Ada, numerous nieces and nephews and many dear friends

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Pamela Cane and grandson Connor Hicks.
