I loved this man. He was a great professor. I had the pleasure of taking an accounting class from him and he made it fun, easy and interesting. The highlight of my daughters Sunday morning was when she got to see "Mick and Vauda". She loved his voice and was so excited whenever she heard him on the radio. It seems his life was cut short, even though I know he is in a much better place. My heart breaks for those left behind that will miss him dearly. I hold Vauda and his family, friends and fans in my prayers. He left a legacy and will be missed by so many lives that he graciously touched.

Mickey Cowan was my favorite professor. Vauda his wife is also a very special person and together they made a great team. His unique wit made his classes enjoyable and accounting rules easier to remember. In addition, he was my boss some of the years that I worked at the East Central Teachers' Credit Union. He was a great boss, professor and friend. He is truly missed.
