Ada, Oklahoma - Ladies and gentlemen, family, friends and loved ones, we gather today with heavy hearts to celebrate the life of my beloved daughter, Megan Rae Jones.
Megan was a vibrant soul who left an indelible mark on all of us.
She was born on December 12, 1986 and the world grew a bit dimmer when she passed on September 27,2025 in Ada, Oklahoma at the age of 38. Megan was a remarkable young woman who's life was defined by her compassion and selflessness.
One of her greatest accomplishments was becoming a nurse-a true calling that allowed her to blend her profound empathy with her skills, touching the lives of countless individuals. She actively pursued her calling and was continuing her education.
Her patients were more than just names on a chart: they were people she cared for deeply.
The outpouring of love and support from the community during her illness is a testament to the difference she made in their lives.
She brought comfort and support during some of the most vulnerable times, and for that, she will always be cherished.
Her warmth and kindness extended far beyond her professional life.
Megan had an incredible ability to make everyone around her feel loved and accepted.
One of Megan's greatest achievements was being a mother to Isaiah, Breanna, Antwon and Bryson and a Loving Life spouse to Dana.
She built a solid foundation for her children. Megan believed in them, supported them, and made sure they always knew how much they were loved, no matter what.
The lessons she taught, the values she held, and the memories they created together will forever be a part of who they are.
Megan loved DYI projects and scrapbooking during her free time. From Holiday ornaments of handmade items that will be treasured for years to come to arts and crafts to sell at craft shows. Megan had so much fun doing these projects with her children.
