Ada, OK - Memorial services for Linda Gail Wolf King, 80, of Ada are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Trinity Baptist Church in Ada. Rev. David Gray will officiate.

Linda left this earth on Friday, March 13, 2026, to be with her Savior. She was born December 12, 1945

in Dustin, OK to William Fibern "Bill" Wolf and Doris Rosalea Brannon Wolf. She graduated from Wetumka High School in 1964.

Linda was employed with Southwestern Bell Telephone for 37 years. She worked in Shawnee as a Service Representative, Cashier, and Business Representative. When the business offices closed, Linda moved to Ada and worked in the outside plant as a Lineman, Installer, and Repair Tech, retiring in 2001. She was the first lady lineman in Oklahoma.

Linda loved life and everyone in it. Her sons and grandchildren gave her some of her greatest pleasures. She enjoyed sewing, making quilts, water and snow skiing, riding horses, and raising cows. She loved helping train horses, cats, dogs, and kids! "The only time I ever wished I weighed more was when I was on the wrong end of a shovel; trying to convince Jeff and Jay that it was "fun" to cut, stack, and carry firewood". Her motto: Don't quit and don't cry.

Survivors include her sons, Jeff Grider and wife Holly of Ada, and Jay Grider and wife Cristi of Tulsa; her grandchildren, Jaxson Grider, Katy Grider, and Joey Grider and wife Haleigh; her partner, Bill Brooks; and two sisters, Wanda Nelson and husband Bob of Oklahoma City and Betty Collins of Durham, NC.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Jack Wolf and Bob Wolf.
