Stratford, Oklahoma - Kenneth H Philpott passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on February 22, 2025 in Stratford Oklahoma, 85 years young.

He was born September 11, 1939, in Sweet Home, Oregon to Donald Hubbard and Miriam Ada Philpott. He served in the Air Force at March Air Force Base in California. Married Mabel Virginia Fritts in Las Vegas in 1959. Kenneth was a rancher in Stratford, Oklahoma for 24 years before his passing. He lived in California for 62 years, retired from Jurupa Valley School District in 2000 after working as a local Ambulance Attendant and Catorama Technician. Our Dad loved hunting, fishing, camping, gardening and his family. He is survived by his wife Mabel of 68 years, his children; Donald Philpott of Stratford, OK, Joyce and Darren Barrett of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Beverly and Jerry Spielman of Turlock, California. Kenneth has 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren. His four sisters, Janice Edmondson of Portland Oregon, Donna Graves of Seaside, Oregon, Miriam Cox-Morris of Springfield, Oregon, Earline Bottleson of Warrenton, Oregon. Kenneth is preceded in death by his daughter Marye Squire, his parents, Donald and Miriam Philpott, brothers Tony Philpott and Daniel Philpott, and sister Patty Brown.
