Ada, Oklahoma - Juanita Lucille (Lott) Maisano, 99, of Ada, Oklahoma, formerly of McAlester, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 6, 2026, in Ada.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at Bishop Chapel of Memories, officiated by Rev. David Gray. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in McAlester.

Serving as pallbearers will be Blake Cantrell, Brent Campbell, Kassie Cothran, Ethan Campbell, Matt Campbell, and Jackson Bishop.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Baptist Church, 520 East Main St., Ada, Oklahoma 74820.

Juanita was born on March 5, 1927, in Scipio, Oklahoma, to J.S. and Lillian (Cantrell) Lott. She graduated from Lamar High School with the Class of 1944.

On January 18, 1947, she married C.J. Maisano. Together they shared more than 65 years of marriage before his passing in 2012. Their home in McAlester was filled with faith, family, and love, where Juanita devoted herself to raising her family and caring for those she loved.

A woman of deep and abiding faith, Juanita was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in McAlester. After moving to Baptist Village in Ada following C.J.'s death, she became a member of Trinity Baptist Church, where she continued to enjoy worship and fellowship. She treasured reading her Bible each day and found great joy in creating beautiful porcelain dolls.

Above all, Juanita will be remembered as a loving wife, devoted mother, proud grandmother and great-grandmother, and faithful Christian whose kindness and quiet strength left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.S. and Lillian Lott; her beloved husband, C.J. Maisano; and her sisters, Vivian Ann Owens and Margaret Lance.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda Cantrell and husband, Mike, and Connie Wallace and husband, Mike; her grandchildren, Carrie Campbell-Bishop, Brent Campbell and wife, Jackie, Somerlyn Cothran and husband, Kassie, and Blake Cantrell and wife, Melissa; her cherished great-grandchildren, Emily Bishop, Jackson Bishop, Ethan Campbell, Matthew Campbell, Kaydence Cothran, Graydon Cantrell, Kale Cothran, Annie Cantrell, Taggart Cantrell, and Finnegan Cantrell; her sister, Wanda Jean Hulin; her brother, James Lott; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends.

Juanita's legacy of faith, love, and unwavering devotion to her family will continue to be treasured by all who were blessed to know her.
