Ada, Oklahoma - Joann Hunt was born in Jackson, Tx on January 12, 1940 and peacefully passed on March 6, 2025. JoAnn grew up in Okla. City and graduated from the University of Oklahoma. She went on to received a master's degree in Education from Oklahoma City Univ.

JoAnn was the proud daughter of Joe B. Hunt and Anna Maud Hunt.

JoAnn was a professor at East Central University until she retired. She previously worked at Connors State College and at the Okla. State Insurance Dept.

JoAnn loved Christmas and was a collector of anything Christmas. She also loved her cats, both her indoor and outdoor cats.

Joann was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved Uncle Orion Hunt, and cousin Bob Hunt. She is survived by her cousins David, Michelle, Sam & Peter Rolle.

JoAnn was a smart, funny and caring friend who will be missed and loved by all.

Her Memorial Service will be Saturday, May 3rd at 11:00am at First United Methodist Church in Ada, Okla.
