Lubbock, Texas - James Milton Miller "Jim" 89, passed away in Lubbock, Texas on July 1, 2021. Jim was born in Hitchita, OK on Nov. 29, 1931, to William Hamlin and Mary Leona Lamb Miller. He married Hazel Marie Biggs on June 13, 1967. Jim is preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Miller; wife, Hazel Miller; brother, Billy Miller; sisters, Wynona Sooter, Helen Riner, and Ruth Ann Jackson. He is survived by his son, James Alan Miller of Ada; daughter, Marianne Wolfe of Idalou, TX; grandchildren, Manessah Abernathy and husband Bryan of Midland, TX, Kylie Ledgerwood and husband Jared of Broken Arrow, OK, Carson Alexander of Dale, OK, Emma Clawson of Idalou, TX, Zane Wolfe of Idalou; 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 9, 2021, at 1 p.m. at Center Freewill Baptist Church in Ada. Interment to follow at McGee Cemetery in Stratford. Visitation will be held on Thursday at the funeral home from 5 - 7 p.m. Arrangements made under the direction of DeArman-Pickard Funeral Home.
