Jerry Jordan Dial


Jerry Jordan "Chico" Dial, 64, of Ada passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2019, in Oklahoma City.
Jerry was born Jan. 19, 1955, in AdA to parents Jordan and Daphine Dial. He grew up in Ada and graduated from Latta High School in 1974.
Jerry later received his associate degree from OSU-IT, formerly Okmulgee Technical School. He worked for the Oklahoma Highway Department for 41 years as a diesel mechanic.
Jerry was a member of the Ada Elks Lodge, where he enjoyed complaining about weak drinks and free sandwiches He loved drag racing and car shows as well.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by sons, Nathan Dial and wife, Tracy, and Arron Dial and wife, Corine; as well as grandchildren Gage Dial, Paxtyn Dial, Landyn Dial, Jayson Khoury, Austyn Khoury and Brayden Khoury.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Smith-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery in Ada.
Pallbearers are Mike Cowan, Marty Deveany, Jeremy Guffy, Don Rice, Bill Rice and Jay Hudson.
