Ada, OK - Memorial Services for James Matthew Folger, 41, of Ada, will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Trinity Baptist Church, Dr. Rusty Fuller and Rev. Jaymeson Kennedy will officiate.
Mr. Folger passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2025, in Oklahoma City. He was born May 11, 1984, in Ada to Tony and Regina Lynn Leewright Folger.
He was a devoted follower of Christ and a proud, diehard Oklahoma Sooner fan. A longtime and faithful member of Trinity Baptist Church, he lived his life with a steady, unwavering faith that touched everyone who knew him.
Though he faced the world without sight, being blind was never a deterrent to his spirit or his purpose. Fiercely independent and always striving for more, he was an overachiever in every sense — meeting challenges head-on and refusing to let obstacles define him. His determination, resilience, and joyful presence inspired all who crossed his path.
His life was a testament to perseverance, devotion, and deep inner strength. He will be remembered for his loyalty, his faith, and the way he lived each day with courage.
Survivors include his father, Tony Folger and wife, Janessa, of Ada; bonus grandmother, Karen Folger; brother, Nate Folger and wife, Danielle, of Yale, OK; aunts and uncles, Jeanette Vangundy and husband, David, Shannon Dykstra and husband, Ted, Peggy Beaty and husband, Jim, Terry Gaskins and husband, Rodney, and Tonya Wyatt and husband, Doug; and numerous nieces and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Regina Folger; paternal grandparents, Jim and Jean Folger; and maternal grandparents, Don and Billie Leewright.
