Irene  Stutte
Irene (Williams) Stutte passed into the eternal presence of her Lord and Savior on Sept. 2, 2019, at the age of 91 in Electra, Texas.
She was born Jan. 2, 1928, in Olney to Silas E. amd Eula (Keel) Williams.
Irene lived her entire life in Clarita, where she raised her children. She married Lawrence A. Stutte on Feb. 21, 1953, in Coalgate. She graduated from Olney High School in 1947, and she later attended Carter Seminary in Ardmore.
She worked in the Coal County Court clerk's office as deputy clerk from 1950 to 1953.
Irene enjoyed sewing, cross stitch, reading and collecting cardinal figurines. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son, Lawrence Dean Stutte and wife, Pat, of Wichita Falls, Texas; daughters Nancy Lynn Speir and husband, Terry, of Mason-Welty, Nanette Bryant and husband, Faron, of Lexington and Laura Jean Stutte; grandsons Alex Gene Speir of Brookline, Massachusetts, and Tucker Speir and wife, Corey, of Tulsa; granddaughters Brianne Perez and husband, Miles, of Prosper, Texas, and Grace Gianina Stutte of Wichita Falls; great-granddaughter, Piper Brynn Perez of Prosper, Texas; great-grandson, Hunter Todd Perez of Prosper; and a longtime school friend, June Riley Scott of Stonewall.
Irene was preceded in death, both parents; her husband; four sisters, Alice Brown, Mabel Jones, Louise Cook and an infant baby sister; and one brother, Simon Williams.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Coalgate First Baptist Church, with Brother Gary Fielding officiating. Interment will follow at Moore Cemetery.
