Edmond, Oklahoma - Forrest Danley, age 65, from Edmond, Oklahoma, passed peacefully from this world after a brave battle with ALS on July 7, 2025, surrounded by family and loved ones.

Born on March 7, 1960, in Ada, Oklahoma, Forrest was a beloved father, husband and friend, known for his empathetic nature, cheerful spirit, servant heart, and exceptional mind. He enjoyed quality time with his family, music and playing piano, traveling (especially to the mountains), fossil hunting, fishing, Sooner football, capturing family photos and videos, and, of course, ice cream.

Throughout his life, he achieved numerous personal and professional accomplishments. Forrest received a Bachelor of Science in Math/Physics from East Central University with the highest honors. After working an engineering position with the Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, he received a law degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, with distinction. He poured his heart into building his own award-winning business, The Danley Law Firm, P.C., and forming meaningful relationships with hundreds of clients, but above all, he was most proud of the family he built as a father and husband.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Danley, three children, Mariah Harris, Alyssa Danley, and Ryan Danley, sister, Phyllis Danley, and granddaughter Harley Harris. He is also lovingly remembered by extended family and lifelong friends who were forever touched by his kindness, loyalty, and wisdom.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 14th at 2:00pm at First Christian Church in Edmond, OK. All are welcome to attend and celebrate his life.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations in Forrest's memory to the Breakfast on Boulevard charity and The ALS Association.

He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him, and his legacy lives on in the many lives he touched.
