Earldene Thompson Obituary

Earldene "Jerri" (Woods) Thompson, 84, passed away June 30, 2016, at her home in Clarita. She was born Feb. 14, 1932, in Clarita to Earl and Millie (Ramay) Woods.

Earldene graduated from Clarita High School and attended Murray State College. She married Charles Alton Thompson Dec. 31, 1955, in Oklahoma City. Earldene was a telephone operator and a cook for the Olney School and helped her husband on the farm with the cattle. She was a member of Tupelo Church of Christ and previously attended Clarita Church of Christ.

Earldene was survived her husband, Charles of the home; one son, Mike Thompson and wife, Karen, of Wapanucka; one daughter, Karen Stonecipher and husband, Allen, of Centrahoma; four grandchildren, Micah Thompson and Tanner Thompson of Wapanucka and Greg Stonecipher and Zane Stonecipher of Centrahoma; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Earldene was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Earl Wayne Woods.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Brown's Funeral Chapel. Mr Floyd Kaiser officiated. Interment followed at Moore Cemetery in Clarita.
