Clark Cogburn, 89, passed away April 7, 2016, in Ada. He was born April 13, 1926, in Coal County to Archie and Maggie (McKinney) Cogburn.

Clark married Jewel Francis Hunter on May 6, 1944.

Clark was a farmer and rancher. Clark also worked many places, the Cotton Gin, Keith's Feed and Seed, C and C Construction, Brawleys Ranch, commercial hay baling, Centrahoma School bus driver and rental property. Clark was a member of the Southwest Church of Christ of Ada. He loved to deer hunt. One of his loves of life was the bluegrass music festival concerts that he enjoyed for 50 years.

He is survived by his children, Judy Parker and husband, Jimmy, of Coalgate and Robert Cogburn and special friend, Pam Ebison, of Coalgate; his grandchildren, Wally Parker of Stillwater, Clark Parker of Coalgate, Mark Parker and wife, Shannon, of Sherman, Texas, Justin Parker of Tupelo, Wanda Fewell and husband, Shawn, of Clinton, Sheila Roberson and husband, David, of Tupelo, Sherri Collins and husband, James, of Bromide, Marcy Williams and husband, Michael, of Clarita, Amy Cogburn and special friend, Steven Storie, of Coalgate; his great-grandchildren, Drew Parker, Brodie Parker, Hunter Parker, Fisher Parker, Troy Parker, Kolton Parker, Boe Ray, Taylor Ray and wife, Callie, Rowdy Ray, Trey Roberson and wife, Bradie Ann, Brandon Cogburn, Marisssa Jackson, Colby Baula and husband, Clay, Neelie Parker, Mercedes Parker, Jewell Parker, Randi Powell and husband, Tommy Aumiller, Chase Powell, Shane Powell, Victoria Cogburn, Amber Brown and husband, Charlie, McKenzie Griggs and husband, Cade, Kylie Parker, Rylie Parker, Kristyn Parker; his great-great-grandchildren, Liam Griggs, Jaxson Powell, Rylee Powell, Joey Aumiller, Chaslee Powell, Serenity Powell; his very special friend, Ginger Paulk; his siblings, Evelyn (Cogburn) Gianfilippo, Maxine (Cogburn) and husband, Thomas Morrison, Phercella (Cogburn) Wells, Pherneica (Cogburn) and husband Travis Shepherd, Leo Cogburn and wife Darlene; and numerous other relatives and many dear friends.

Clark is preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Maggie (McKinney) Cogburn; his wife, Jewel Cogburn; his daughter, Pauline Francis Cogburn; his granddaughter, Susan Cogburn; his grandson, Eddie Parker; his great-great-granddaughter, Courtney Parker; great-great-grandsons; and twin brothers, Troy and Clay Powell

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Centrahoma Baptist Church. Pastor Lyle Shipley will officiate. Interment will follow at Centrahoma Cemetery.
