Ardmore, OK - A gathering for Carl Dean Gilley, 92, of Ardmore, was held on Friday, November 7, 2025, at Criswell Funeral Home located Ada, Oklahoma.

Mr. Gilley passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at the VA Center in Ardmore. He was born September 19, 1933, in Boynton, Oklahoma to Louis Calvin and Viola Mae Olds Gilley.

He served in the United States Army in an artillery combat unit in the Korean war and worked as a Postal Carrier until his retirement.

Survivors include his son, Scott Gilley wife Gayle, with grandsons Michael and Patrick, of Huntsville, AL; daughter, Jan Bates and husband David, of Roff, OK with grandchildren, Chad Whittington, Jessica Glenn, Tracy Bryant, and Scott Bates; daughter Beth Leader, of Antlers, OK with granddaughters Rebecca Birhfield, Valerie Nix, Elizabeth Farmer and grandson Skyler Leader; two brothers, Earl Gilley, of Kansas and Lloyd Gilley, of Texas; and sister, Clara Williams of California.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Alice Yvonne Ramer; wife, Mona Lee Gilley; wife, Lois Gilley; infant son Mark David Gilley; six brothers, Otis, Leita, Norman, Fred, Frank, and Glen; and five sisters, Laverna, Nelda, Ruth, Wanda, and Myrtle.
