Audie P. Fisher of Stratford was born April 19, 1942, to Odie and Virginia (Wood) Hinkle. She passed away May 9, 2018, in Norman at the age of 76 years and 20 days.
Audie grew up in the Stratford area.
She married Charles Fisher on April 21, 1958, in Stratford. They traveled all over the world while he was in the military.
She graduated from high school from Vilonia High in Arkansas. She and Charles made their home in the Stratford area and were members of the Byars Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she served as secretary for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Charles Vernon Fisher; two sisters, Elaine Cottrell and Lela Blankenship; and two brothers, Lewis and Willard Hinkle.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Fisher, of the home; one daughter, Darla Kay Ruminer and husband, J.L.; one son, Clint Fisher and wife, Teresa, all of Stratford; two brothers, Dewayne Hinkle and wife, Joyce, Melvin Hinkle and wife, Phyllis; one sister, Lola Spikes, all of Stratford; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren that she loved as her own.
She is also survived by her loving church family and a multitude of friends.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at DeArman/Pickard Funeral Home, Stratford.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Life Point Church, south of Stratford on Highway 177. The Revs. Justin Blankenship and Frank Trent will officiate. Burial will be in McGee Cemetery, Stratford.
