Allen, Oklahoma - Adrian Uriah Horton passed away Sept. 11, 2019, at the age of 65 years in Allen.

He was born July 31, 1954, in Landstuhl, Germany, to Ura Manuel and Helen Viola (Reed) Horton.

Adrian proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, serving in Desert Storm. He retired from the Army in 1993. Adrian then worked on the pipeline.

He married Kathleen Ann Hartnett on Feb. 14, 2014, in Allen.

Adrian was a member of the Chickasaw Warriors Society. He enjoyed painting, drawing and carpentry.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Horton, of the home; one son, Adrian M. Horton; three stepchildren, Marc Witman Jr. of Union Valle, Stacey

Witman of Fort Worth, Texas, and Robert Witman and wife, Teresa, of Fort Worth; eight grandchildren; one brother, Durwin Manuel Horton and wife, Leveta, of Sulphur; one sister, Vicky (Horton) Standridge and husband, Jim, of Pauls Valley; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dearly loved family and friends.

Adrian was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Branden Horton; two sisters, Cynthia Horton-Lancaster and Alecia Horton; and mentor, John Wayne.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Brown's Funeral Service in Coalgate, with Bro. Glen Russel officiating.

Family night will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Brown's Funeral Service-Chapel.
