Services for Phyllis Ann Balch, 69, of Ada are at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Dennis Heath will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mrs. Balch passed away Sunday, Feb. 26, 2017, at a Shawnee hospital. She was born April 11, 1947, in Paris, Texas, to James and Amy Luster Dobbs. She and her family moved to California, where she attended school.
She married Johnnie Lee Balch Dec. 28, 1964. He preceded her in death March 28, 2015.
She and her family moved back to this area in 1980 from California, and she retired from the Wrangler Co.
Survivors include a son, Brad Balch and his wife, Penny, of Ada; a daughter, Jana Ronk and her husband, Blake, of Ada; one brother, David Dobbs of Haysville, Kansas; three sisters, Billye Sue Jones and husband, Jerry, of Waterville, Washington, Lynda Crouch of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and Terri Jackson of Hot Springs; three grandchildren, Deryk Ronk and wife, Tori, Autumn Balch and Chance Balch; a great-grandson, Ryeker Ronk; and a great-granddaughter, Logyn Ronk.
Bearers will be Deryk Ronk, Chance Balch, Blake Ronk, David Dobbs, Allen Balch and Eddy Boggus.
