Services for Opal Dean ODaniel, 93, of Ada are at 10 a.m. Saturday at Harmony Free Will Baptist Church. The Rev. Dave Evans will officiate. Burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery.
Mrs. ODaniel passed away Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2016, at her home. She was born Aug. 7, 1923, in Sasakwa to Walter and Lizzie Neal Barrett.
She married Howard Edward ODaniel April 5, 1976, in Sasakwa. He preceded her in death Nov. 23, 2008. Mrs. ODaniel was a licensed practical nurse in Wewoka and later at Holdenville General Hospital. She was a member of Harmony Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Hudson and her husband, Tommy, of Sasakwa and Wilba Timmons and her husband, Ron, of Tahlequah; a son, Dan ODaniel and his wife, Lola, of Enid; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Carol Sue Welch; three brothers; and two sisters.
Bearers will be Kerry Hudson, Jeff Hudson, Michael Hudson, Logan Hudson, J. D. Wyatt, Wesley Jones, Ryan Peters and Aaron Choate.
