Max Ladel Hibbard, 82, of Ada passed away Sunday, Oct. 30, 2016.
Max was born Nov. 19, 1933, in Asher to James and Mable Crenshaw Hibbard. He married Frances Ann Knowles of Shawnee and had two sons, Mike and Tim. Max was the owner and operator of Hibbard Bit Service from 1962 until his retirement in 1989. After his retirement, he and his wife enjoyed traveling the country, camping and RV-ing with their close circle of friends.
Max was preceded in death by his parents and older brother, Ray Hibbard.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Frances of the home; his son, Mike Hibbard of Moore; and his son, Tim Hibbard and his wife, Rhonda, of Ada.
His grandchildren include Robert Hibbard and his wife, Alicia, of Edmond, Erin Hibbard of Oklahoma City, Sean Hibbard of Norman, Cody Hibbard and his wife, Brandi, of Mustang; and four great-grandchildren.
Services to honor his life will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Criswell Funeral Home in Ada. The Revs. Jerry Wells and Harold Ware will officiate. Graveside service will follow at Vista Cemetery, in Asher.
Bearers will be his three grandsons and members of his Sunday school class.
