Services for Marjo Hudson, 90, of Hurst, Texas, formerly of Ada, are at 2 p.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Ray Talbott will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Ms. Hudson passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at a Colleyville, Texas, nursing home. She was born March 30, 1927, in Colbert to Jim and Sally Rolland Sartar. She graduated from Achille High School and attended cosmetology school at Modern Beauty College in Durant.
Ms. Hudson was a hair stylist and owner of Modern Beauty Shop in Ada for more than 50 years. She was a member of Oak Avenue Baptist Church. Marjo was a member of the Order of Eastern Star for more than seven years and she was a member of the Ada Garden Club and the Red Hat Society.
Survivors include two daughters, Ali Revell and her partner, Ronnie Henley, and Shirley Whiten, all of Colleyville; two granddaughters, Brenda Miller and her husband, Mark, of Ardmore and Tannis Revell of Phoenix, Arizona; and four great-granddaughters, Tabatha Roberts and her husband, Wes, of Ardmore, Katelyn Miller of Raleigh, North Carolina, Allison Miller of Ardmore and Jona Revell of Seattle.
