Services for Manota Justine Lewis, 94, of Fittstown are at 2 p.m. Saturday at Connerville Baptist Church. The Rev. Richard Dickerson will officiate. Burial will follow at the Connerville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Ms. Lewis passed away Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2016, at an Ada hospital. She was born Sept. 22, 1922, in Connerville to Daniel Webster and Lucinda Ella Castle Duncan. She attended Pontotoc schools.
Ms. Lewis was a cook's assistant at McCalls Chapel, East Central University cafeteria and later the Ada Retirement and Care Center. She was a member of Fittstown Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Tony Lewis and his wife, Patty, of Sand Springs and Ben Lewis and his wife, Theresa, of Ada; a daughter, Sandra Wyche and her husband, Ross, of Fittstown; seven grandchildren, Tonya Blansett and her husband, Brian, of Bristow, Wesley Wyche and his wife, Gena, of Cleveland, Jessie Wyche and his wife, Maggie, of Fittstown, Tony Webster Lewis of Tulsa, Shannon Lewis of Lawton and Melanie Jones and Ashley Lewis, both of Norman; and nine great-grandchildren, Malorie Scott, Jordan Scott, Trey Jones, Lilly Wyche, Jarrett Wyche, Violet Wyche, Lyric Linton, Lakyn Lewis and Layne Lewis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers and sisters, James Duncan, Alvin Duncan, Leota Coker, Ralph Duncan and Ervin Duncan; and two very young sisters, Clarise Duncan and Ferris Duncan.
Bearers will be Wesley Wyche, Jessie Wyche, Jordan Scott, Brian Jones, Freddie Jones and Trey Jones. Honorary bearers will be Jim and Dan Parrish.
