Services for Elroy Francis Walden, 93, of Ada are at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Brian Matthews will officiate.
Mr. Walden passed away Friday, Oct. 28, 2016, at the Sulphur Veterans Center. He was born Aug. 31, 1923, in Clarksville, Texas, to James Mitt and Jewell Faye Wood Walden. He attended school in Beckville, Texas, and moved to Ada in 1956 from Stillwater.
Mr. Walden was the owner of We Go Perforators and R.W. Production Co., until his retirement in 1997. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include a daughter, LaDona Hill and her husband, Carlyle, of Ada; three brothers, Don Walden of Centerville, Louisiana, Will E. Walden of Collierville, Tennessee, and Bill Walden of Tulsa; four grandchildren, Ryan Rhoads of Little Rock, Arkansas, Bryce Rhoads of Oklahoma City, Lyndsey Rhoads of Chicago and Cody Hill of Oklahoma City; and three great-grandchildren, Hope, Maverick and Kennedi Rhoads.
