Services for Edith Alma Lillard, 92, of Ada are at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Bud Ross will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Lillard passed away Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017, at a local nursing home. She was born Nov. 10, 1924, in Stonewall to William Owen and Anna G. La Reau Newell. She attended Stonewall school, graduating in 1943.
She married Bencie F. Lillard Feb. 3, 1946. He preceded her in death Oct. 2, 2014. They made homes in Wyoming, Montana and Colorado before moving back to Oklahoma in 1958. Mrs. Lillard was a homemaker and a member of Central Church of Christ.
Survivors include a son, Jim Lillard and his wife, Linda, of Ada; and a granddaughter, Jaylea Lillard of Ada.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Anna Billingsley; and three brothers, Sedrick, Edmond and Gerald Newell.
Bearers will be Burr Harris, Dr. Jerry Morgan, Bill Nelson, Benny Cope, Morris McGehee, Ray Tharp and Daniel Jonka.
