Memorial services for Debra Annette McNeill, 61, of Ada are at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Chickasaw Nation Community Center.
She was born Debra Annette Odom on Monday, April 11, 1955, to Vera Mae Pettigrew and Carl Vallis Odom. Mrs. McNeill passed from this life Sunday, Dec. 11, 2016, at her home in the Homer-Oakman area, surrounded by her family and friends.
Mrs. McNeill worked as an LPN in various hospitals in the Ada and Pauls Valley areas. Priding herself on being an advocate for her patients.
Debbie had a strong faith and proclaimed Yeshua (Jesus) as her personal savior. She passed this faith on to her children.
Survivors include her husband, Don McNeill of the home; her daughter, Mesha McNeill and her fiancé, Marcie Thompson, of Ada; her sons, Aaron McNeill and his wife, Crystal, and their son, Keilian, of Gallup, New Mexico, and Shawn McNeill and his wife, Serica, and their sons, Christopher and Jackie, of Norman; close family friends, Laurie Cochran, Gina Hunt and Lacy Davis and family; her sister, Linda Bryant and her husband, Carl, of Ada; her niece, Andrea and her husband, Chuck Rohla; her great-nephew, Clayton; her sister, Karen Holland and her husband, Rick, of Ada; her nephew, Shane Tatum and his wife, Shawna; her sister, Teresa Snodgrass; her nephew, Vallis McCullar; a brother, Carl Odom; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Beverly Joyce; and her best friend, Mona Chronister.
