Cynthia (Cindy)'s Story
Cynthia Lea (Cindy) Blair Wilson was born 2-23-1965 to Jack and Linda Blair in Norman. Graduated Noble High School in 1983 and OSU in 1988 with a B.S. degree in ag economics.
After receiving her degree from OSU, she worked for Farm Credit Service as a loan officer in Ponca City. Later she worked for Conoco, Treasury Division, in Ponca City. She was past director of First American Bank, Stonewall. She was the first female president of the FFA in Oklahoma and later served as a national officer.
She was employed by Oklahoma Blood Institute in Ada and Tulsa. She was a member of Life Church, Tulsa, where she was involved in many outreach activities.
She is survived by her children, Brandon Wilson of West Palm Beach, Florida, and Emily Wilson of Austin, Texas. Also her parents, Jack and Linda Blair of Stonewall; siblings; Jackie Bley of OKC, Beth Checorski and husband, Marc, of OKC; grandmother Ida Fowler of Norman; and numerous family members.
Preceded in death by her baby brother, Brian Lee Blair; paternal grandfather N.K. (Jack) Blair; and maternal grandmother Alice L. Garver.
Memorial service in Tulsa at Holland Hall Christian School Chapel at 10 a.m. Saturday under the direction of Moore's Southlawn Funeral Home.
Memorial service held at Stonewall First Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Saturday, followed by a private family committal. Family visitation prior to service beginning at 1 p.m. in Fellowship Hall.
