Services for Barbara Ruth Cameron, 73, of Ada are at 2 p.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Stuart Rising will officiate. Burial will follow at Centrahoma Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cameron passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017, at her home. She was born Oct. 14, 1943, in Coal County to Earnest "Doyin" and Leona Ruth Harbin Stonecipher. She graduated from Tupelo High School.
She married Edward Lee Cameron May 29, 1964, at Lula. He preceded her in death Nov. 27, 2008. Mrs. Cameron was a homemaker.
Survivors include her son, Robert Cameron and his wife, Sabrina, of Maud; a daughter, Lecia Gibson and her husband, John, of Jupiter, Florida; a brother, Larry "Kent" Stonecipher and his wife, Jackie, of Ada; a sister-in-law, Sherry Stonecipher of Bache; four grandchildren, Audreana Cameron of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, Natasha Cameron of Maud and Chance and Corbin Gibson, both of Jupiter, Florida; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, Darrell (Stoney) Stonecipher; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Bearers will be John Gibson, Paul Newport, Jeff McGaugh, Quinn McGaugh, Tracy Graham and Tyler Graham.
