Services for Vickie Lynn Steffen, 52, of Fitzhugh are at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Fitzhugh United Methodist Church. Pastor Wanda Littrell will officiate.
Vickie passed away peacefully Thursday, Oct. 6, 2016.
A creative free spirit, Vickie embraced the love of animals. She was a beautiful, caring person with a giving heart. She was a simple treasure who loved waking up every morning to a new world. She always sought the path of love and lived by her own rules.
The younger of two girls, Vickie was born Feb. 3, 1964, in Ada to Benny and Mary Allison. She graduated from Roff High School. She was a secretary for Southwest Petroleum before moving back home.
Survivors include her mother, Mary; and Vickie's two cats, Snickerdoodle and Boogie. She is also survived by a sister, Debbie Boyd and her husband, Jimmy, of Fitzhugh; two nieces, Tammy Dunlap and her children, Rylan, Palynn and Kendal and Annda Boyd and her children, Talise and Winter Grace.
She was preceded in death by her father, Benny Allison, Sept. 12, 2008.
Vickie will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
