Services for Tommy Lee Higdon, 84 of Roff, are at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Dennis Heath will officiate. Burial will follow at East Hill Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted by the Chickasaw Honor Guard.
Mr. Higdon died Sunday, Oct. 16, 2016, in Sulphur. He was born Jan. 12, 1932, in Ahloso to Thomas Lee and Jessie Mae Nichols Higdon. He attended Roff Schools.
He married Alta Mae Nichols Jan. 6, 1954. She preceded him in death April 24, 2000. Mr. Higdon was a retired iron worker who served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Survivors include two daughters, Tommy Robison and her husband, Ronnie, of Roff and Vickie Garrett of Ada; five grandchildren, Amy Fick of Byng, Shane Henderson of Noble, Dustin Sheppard of Ada, Cody Sheppard of Roff and Paige Hilton of Texarkana, Texas; and 10 great-grandchildren, Trestin McMillen, Tay McMillen, Will Sheppard, Zaydin Fick, Drew Sheppard, Kamryn Henderson, Nate Sheppard, Bryce Henderson, Addi Sheppard and Owen Sheppard.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, John Cecil Higdon; a sister Mildred Henderson; and two great-grandchildren, Gabriel McMillen and Kyndal Sheppard.
