Pat T. Moore, 88, passed away Nov. 18, 2017. A resident at Epworth Villa in Oklahoma City, he died in Mercy Hospital, surrounded by family.
Pat T. Moore was born Aug. 23, 1929, in Enid to his parents, Earl Tate and Ruth Albright Moore. He graduated from Stillwater High School in 1947 and from Oklahoma A&M College in 1953 with a BS degree in engineering. He was a general contractor, moving frequently as he managed the construction of many commercial buildings across the country, ultimately ending in Dallas in 1969 for the remainder of his career.
He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1953-1956.
He married Faye White Perkins in 1957 in Dallas. She preceded him in death by in 2000.
He married Fretta Vanzant in 2002 and relocated to Ada in 2003.
He is survived by his wife, Fretta Vanzant Moore, Oklahoma City; daughter and son-in law, Melinda and Mike Newport of Ada; daughter and son-in-law, Pamela Moore and Santi Domenech, Brooklyn, New York; stepson Keith Perkins of Bethesda, Maryland; grandchildren Caleb Newport and wife, Katherine, of Houston, Joshua Newport and wife, Jayma, of Stonewall, Adrian Domenech Moore of Brooklyn and Wanda, Sylvia and Dorothy Perkins, Silver Spring, Maryland. He is also survived by his sister, Joan Mae Matthews of Houston, and three great-grandchildren.
He donated his body to the United Tissue Network.
