Services for Loyd Donly Miller, 92, of Ada will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Stonewall First Baptist Church. The Rev. Richard Dickerson will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mr. Miller died Monday, Jan. 1, 2018, at an Owasso nursing home. He was born March 27, 1925, in Ahloso to Walter Edwin and Nellie Dee Henderson Miller. He attended Ahloso grade school and Stonewall High School.
He married Joyce Dean Coble on April 30, 1948, in Tupelo. He later married Leona May Miller on Nov. 15, 1968, in Stonewall. She preceded him in death Oct. 5, 2012.
Mr. Miller was a rancher and was also employed with Brockway Glass and Douglas Aircraft of Tulsa. He was a fuel transport truck driver for Henson Oil Co. and Sanford Oil Co. He was a member of the Stonewall First Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Carolyn Sue Murray and husband, Dennis, of Owasso; one son, Steven Loyd Miller and wife, Kala, of Seminole; one stepson, Larry Joe Miller of Wasilla, Alaska; six grandchildren, Carrie Walls and husband, Brian, Wesley Murray and wife, Stephanie, Steven Paul Miller, Brett Chase Miller and wife, Kendell, and Tyler Ross Miller and wife, Jolee; two step-grandchildren, Tia Miller Beckham and husband, Kevin, and Misty Miller; eight great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two wives, Joyce Miller and Leona Miller; eight brothers and sisters, Essie Oliver, Clifford Miller, Cecil Blankenship, Ruby Dell McFarland, Edwin Miller, Milburn "Bib" Miller, Isabel McNinch and J.W. "Dub" Miller; one great-grandson, Blake Austin Miller; and a stepson, Ronnie Miller.
Bearers will be grandsons.
