Services for Laura Lydia Ann Cupps Welborn, 86, of Ada, are at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church. The Revs. Donna Gustin and Frank Trent will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mrs. Welborn passed away Sunday, Feb. 5, 2017, at her home. She was born Nov. 30, 1930, in Anadarko to Bert Preston and Effie Jane Edwards Cupps. She and her family moved to Ada from Anadarko when she was an infant. She attended school in Owl Creek.
She married Howard Welborn May 4, 1949. Mrs. Welborn was a beautician at several beauty shops in Ada, retiring after 22 years of service. She was a longtime member of Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Survivors include her husband, Howard of the home; two sisters, Lenora Lee and Grace Cupps, both of Ada; two brothers, Herman Cupps and his wife, Imogene, of Fitzhugh and Fred Cupps and his wife, Marlene, of Edmond; a brother-in-law, J.B. Owens and his wife, Alice, of Holdenville; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and seven sisters.
Bearers will be her nephews.
