Services for Kennith Ray Moore, 81, of Ada are at 1 p.m. Friday at the Life Community Church in Ada. The Rev. Mickey Keith will officiate. Burial will follow at Coalgate Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mr. Moore passed away Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2018, at a local hospital. He was born April 23, 1936, at Wilson to Walter and Opal Hunt Moore. He graduated from Atoka High School.
He married L. Shirlene Brown on Jan. 3, 1955.
Mr. Moore had been a butcher, a small-business owner and later the executive vice president of LegalShield. Mr. Moore had served in the Oklahoma National Guard for 18 years.
Survivors include his wife, Shirlene, of the home; a son, Randy Moore and wife, Patricia, of Durant; a daughter, Shara Moore of Ada; his grandchildren, Keagan Moore, Ada, Jeremy and Stephanie Moore, Ada, Joseph and Misty Moore, Antlers, Brandi and Chris Ward, Durant, and Christopher and Jenni Stanfield, Murphy, Texas; his great-grandchildren, Braden Moore, Creed Moore, Jaelin and Camden Moore, Ryan Oltmann and Cassidy and Brycen Ward; cousins whom he was reared with, Billy Moore and wife, Alice, and Doyle Moore and wife, Candy; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Gayla Ann Moore, in 1972; and a sister, Darlene Boekhout.
Bearers will be Jeremy Moore, Joseph Moore, Braden Moore, Keagan Moore, Frank Lindsay and Terry Stone. Honorary bearers will be Kathy and Harold Pinson, David and Jean Peterman, Chris Stanfield, Chris Ward, John Long and Steve Williamson.
