Services for Jimmy Lee Savage, 65, of Ada are at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Bob Payne will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mr. Savage passed away Friday, Sept. 16, 2016, at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born Feb. 24, 1951, in Kirksville, Missouri, to Lee Horace and Dona Lorraine Sedelmeier Savage.
He married Susan Denice Roberts Nov. 15, 1996, in Ada. Mr. Savage was an oilfield pumper, having worked for Bob Cantrell. He was a member of Colbert Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Marines.
Survivors include his wife, Susan of the home; his children, Charles Savage and his wife, Marie, of LaBelle, Missouri, James Savage of Quincy, Illinois, Linda Savage-Quintela of Midland, Texas, Barbara Cox of Burkburnett, Texas, Kierstin Carter and her husband, Greg, of Ada and James Adams of Ada; 26 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Christopher Savage.
Bearers will be Chad Adams, Cody Adams, Cory Adams, Blake Adams, Lance Stevens, Michael Stevens and David Adams. Honorary bearers will be Greg Carter, Jerry Meeks, David Painter and Rusty Atkeson.
