Constance's Story

Constance Jean Brady "Granny," 81, passed away Feb. 2, 2017, in Oklahoma City.
Jean was born Sept. 22, 1935, at Lula to Lewis and Mozella Echols. Jean was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Rozelle Maslowski.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Rocky Point Missionary Baptist Church in Lula.
Jean attended many elementary schools and graduated from high school in Garden City, Kansas. She chose to continue her education at East Central University. Upon completion of her master's, Jean moved to Colorado to start her career. She spent her years teaching and in administration of education in Colorado.
Retirement brought Jean home to Lula. Her retirement years were filled with quilting with friends, attending her church, watching grandkids play baseball and traveling with family.
Jean is survived by her daughter, Connie Brown Rhines and husband Richard of Helendale, California; two daughters by choice, Connie Teel, Conroe, Texas, and Donna Munday and husband, Zack, Lula. Grandchildren: Cori Brown, Trey Brown, Sierra Rhines, Zachery Rhines, Heath Cannon and wife, April, Jake Munday and wife, Courtney, Zeke Munday and wife, Madison, Tyler Brown, Alan Teel and wife, Karen, Nathan Teel and wife, Crystal, and Celeste Rigsby. Great-grandchildren: Ethan Cannon; Kaden Cannon; Bodi Cannon; Jillian Krieger; Emma Krieger; her namesake, Olivia Jean Munday; Austin Berry; Dakota Teel; Trenton Bradley; Cole Bradley; Charlee Teel; Mitchell Teel; Kinzie Rigsby; and Kindal Rigsby. She was also Granny to many others, including but not limited to Stonewall Longhorns and Hillsdale Saints. Special friends are Irene Rowe, Lula, Stonewall Quilting Ladies and Rocky Point Missionary Baptist Church sisters and brothers.
Family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Lula Cemetery.
