Memorial services for Colton Chase Pennington, 21, of Ada are at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Chickasaw Community Center. The Rev. Duawn Mearns will officiate.
Viewing will be today, Sunday and Monday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Colton passed away Monday, Jan. 1, 2018. He was born Feb. 3, 1996, at Oklahoma City to Joseph and Misti Michelle Lackey Pennington. Colton entered the Air Force and attended basic training before being medically discharged.
Colton was a delivery driver for Home Depot. He was a huge sports fan of the Dallas Cowboys and loved basketball and football.
Survivors include his dad, Joe Pennington and his wife, Alyson; his mom, Misti Hatton and husband, Bobby; his girlfriend, Kassidi Thompson; his brothers and sisters, Carter Pennington, Jake (imaginary brother), Kanyon Pennington, Karson Pennington, Brooklyn Riley, Bradyn Riley, Caleb Kirby, Caden Kirby, Morgan Hatton and Lourin Hatton; his paternal grandparents, Norma and Mike Williams; his maternal grandparents, Wilena Huff and Bobby and Tanis Hatton; paternal great-grandparents Homa Jean and Ray Brown and Louise and John Ens; an aunt, Mary Morehead; aunts Tanya and Laura Anglemyer; uncle, Phillip Pennington; aunt and uncle, Carmel and Andy Yeater; aunt and uncle, Rhonda and Steve Kramer; aunt, Lanita Stewart; aunt, Eren Hatton; cousins, Michael and Cooper Anglemyer, Shelby Pennington, Elizabeth Guy, Amanda Kramer, Tyrell and Nyla Hatton; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jack Pennington; maternal grandfather,, Lloyd Lackey; maternal great-grandparents, Clytus and Gladys Huff; paternal great-grandfather, Leroy Hatton; and an aunt, Mary Morehead.
Bearers will be Carter Pennington, Morgan Hatton, Tyrell Hatton, Michael Anglemyer, Beau Ray, Daden Allen, Ryan Brashears, Bryce Gilleande, Dylan McGuire, Brenden Rains, Broc Ray and Brig Ray.
