Services for Carl Frazier Jr., 77, of Wichita, Kansas, and formerly of Ada are at 10 a.m. Friday at the Reaper Baptist Church in Ada. Pastor Frank McClarty Jr. will officiate. Burial will follow at Athens Cemetery.
Mr. Frazier passed away Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018, at Wichita. He was born Sept. 22, 1940, at Ada to Carl and Rosetta Wilson Frazier. He and his family moved to Wichita in 1968.
Mr. Frazier worked in the family business of construction maintenance. Carl went to work for the school board in the early '80s. He had previously been a butcher at a packing house.
Survivors include his brother, David; sons, Richard, Michael, Jeff, Kerry, Selwyn (Nicole) and Domain; daughters, Patrice, Melissa, Carolyn, Tonya, Elizabeth and Mercedes Frazier; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Richard and Wayne; an infant daughter with his late wife, Otha Mae Frazier; daughter, Connie Frazier-Johnson and her husband, Greg, and grandson, Tyler Frazier.
Bearers will be O.C. Frazier Jr., Edgar Frazier Sr., Steve M. Frazier, Michael Rogers, Greg Frazier Colbert and Bryan Frazier.
