Bradley's Story

Text size

Beloved son, brother, husband, father and friend Brad Pettigrew, 46, of Bixby went to heaven on Dec. 27, 2016.
He was born in Fordyce, Arkansas, on Dec. 9, 1970. Brad and his family moved to Ada at the age of 9, where him and his family continued to live throughout his adolescent years. He proudly graduated from Ada High School in 1989, where he was a part of two state championship football teams.
In 1992, Brad moved to Bixby as he began a new chapter in his life. This new chapter began when he became a member of the Impact Life Center, where he spent the next 20 years of his life spreading the Word of Christ. Brad was a Godly man and lived each day of his life in a Godly way, doing his very best to always show love, care, compassion and his love for Christ to others.
Brad also worked for Cox Cable for 11 years. He was well liked and had many great friends and classmates and was also a huge Oklahoma Sooner fan. BOOMER!
It was in Tulsa where Brad met his wife of 19 years, Breah Diane Pettigrew of Montana. They have two beautiful daughters, Amery,16, of Montana and Teagan, 14, of Bixby.
Brad was survived by his wife, Breah; daughter Amery; daughter Teagan; mother, Rhonda Pettigrew of Ada; his brother Wayne and his wife, Angie Pettigrew,of Ada; brother Cory and his wife, Lisa Pettigrew of Shawnee; and his three nieces, Casady Burns of Ada, Katie Stewart of Shawnee and Emiley Robinett, also from Shawnee. He has one nephew, Matthew Pettigrew of Owasso.
He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Pettigrew, who passed away in 2004.
We rejoice the life of Bradley Kent Pettigrew as he will always be in our hearts, minds and souls.
Services will be held at noon Monday at the Grace Community Church, located in the old Vamoosa School Building approximately 15 miles North of Ada on Highway 99, officiated By Chauncey Forte and wife, Gwen, of the Impact Life Center of Tulsa.
The family has asked in lieu of flowers that you make a donation on behalf of Brad to help for funeral expenses and support for his daughters to Vision Bank of Ada to the Bradley Kent Pettigrew Memorial Fund, (580) 332-5132.
