She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Lee Bailey; son-in-law, Larry Kooken; and husband, J.D.
Betty was a beautiful person inside and out. Loving, generous and kind, she willingly shared God's love with others and the importance of accepting Jesus Christ as their personal savior. She will always be remembered for her beautiful soprano voice and her love of playing religious hymns at her piano.
Betty loved tending to her many flowers and greenery around her home and could often be found outside enjoying the nice weather while working in her flowerbeds. Most importantly, she will be remembered for being an unwavering woman of faith, a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed in the days to come, yet her family holds fast to the promise of a great reunion in heaven.
