A memorial service for Barry (Stroker) Ellis will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Bud Jones officiating.
Barry (Stroker) Ellis, 62, of Apache passed away Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2018, in Apache.
He was born Sept. 8, 1955, in Ada to Alma (Sanders) Daniel and Billy Ellis. He moved to Lawton at the age of 7 and graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1974.
He was a truck driver with Halliburton, Jennings and Deluca Trucking for most of his adult life. For the last 10 years, he was a farmer on his family's farm.
Survivors include his daughter, Heather Mendez, Apache; three grandchildren, Adam Ellis, Colorado, and Zarryah Mendez and Elyaz Mendez, both of Apache; his stepdad, Leonard Daniel, Ada; two brothers, Ricky Ellis, Texas, and Tom Daniel and his wife, Sharyl, Stonewall; three sisters, Pam King and her husband, Gary, Ardmore, Tammy Latimer, Mason, Michigan, and Kim Lackey and her husband, Gary, Ada; numerous nieces, nephews and friends; and his faithful sidekick, Boo Boo.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Alma Daniel, and his son, Chad Ellis.
