Arvie Stell Gerloff, 90, of Mannsville passed away Thursday, Aug. 31, 2017, at Mercy Hospital in Ardmore.
She was born March 24, 1927, in Allen to the late Quince E. Kerr and Willie West Kerr. Arvie was raised near Allen and later moved to Latta.
Arvie married Delbert Gerloff on July 13, 1946, in Ada. He preceded her in death on Oct. 7, 2007.
While living in Latta, they owned and operated a dairy farm. Later, she worked at the Latta Public School. In 1991 she moved to Mannsville, where she lived the rest of her life.
Arvie was a member of the Mannsville United Methodist Church. She loved cooking, playing cards and dominoes with her family, canning and gardening.
She is survived by her children, Delton Gerloff and wife, Gail, Knoxville, Tennessee, and Junita Childs and husband, Dan, Mannsville; her grandchildren, Heidi Gerloff, Sam Gerloff, Matt Gerloff, Daniel Gerloff, Lucas Gerloff, Adam Gerloff, Kirby and Amy Childs, Katy and David Hairell; brothers Bud Kerr, Hinton, and Bill Kerr, Cushing; and sisters Lola Mae Mashaney, Bridgeport, Treva Johnson, Bridgeport, and Loretta Hobson, Calumet.
Arvie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers, Bobby and Phillip Kerr; and two sisters, Dorothy Jared and Pearl Barnhart.
Visitation was Friday at Watts Funeral Home, Madill.
Services took place Saturday at the Mannsville United Methodist Church, Mannsville. Frank Simpson, Ron King and Harold Hunt officiated the service. Interment will be at the Mannsville Cemetery, Mannsville.
Casket bearers were Kirby Childs, David Hairell, Josh Anderson, Ethan Hairell, Dawson Hairell, Eli Childs and Adam Gerloff.
