Services for Andrew Edward "Andy" Anderson, 55, of Byng are at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Chaplain Rich Putnam will officiate. Burial will follow at New Bethel Cemetery in Byng.
Mr. Anderson passed away Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2016, at his home. He was born March 17, 1961, in Altadena, California, to Franklin Jay and Alma Ruth Nipps Anderson. He attended grade school at Altadena and Byng High School.
He married Sharon Summers and later married Linda Oliver. They both preceded him in death. Mr. Anderson was a roughneck in the oilfield.
Survivors include his mother, Alma Nipps Sjurset of Byng; two sons, Frankie Anderson and his wife, Kasey, of Eufaula and Christopher Anderson and his wife, Kendra, of Canadian; a grandson, Andrew Bryce Anderson of Eufaula; a brother, Jon Parks and his partner, Terri Fowler, of Ada; his sisters, Alma Jean Hankins of San Jose, California, Lorraine Parks and her husband, Tom, of Gold Hill, Oregon, Susie Tingle and her husband, Joe, of Byng; a sister-in-law, Vikki Nola and her husband, Joe, of Byng; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father; his wife, Sharon Anderson; his wife, Linda Anderson; and two brothers, Franklin Anderson Jr. and Ronnie Jack Parks.
Bearers will be Chase Bryant, David Winters, Michael Winters, Allen Mast, Benny Nipps and Mike Nipps. Honorary bearers will be Don Armstrong, Michael Quinton, Tom Brewer, Wesley Jones, Brad Lillard, Greg Harbin, James Harbin and Bernard Parish.
